Cosmetic events help Defy Time improve CO2 Fractional Laser treatments

Dr Jones introduces new techniques to improve the effects for Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing while providing greater comfort for patients

At the annual IMCAS meeting in Paris (8 – 11 January) and the Royal College of Physicians in London (24 January) there was, as ever, lots of opportunities to share information, identify improvements in technology and improve the quality of our treatments.

In particular, there was a real buzz around the advancements in Fractional Laser Resurfacing, a superb treatment for lines and wrinkles, ageing skin, pigmentations, scars and acne scars.

Along with the other top Factional Laser Resurfacing experts in the UK, we were lucky enough to meet with Professor Nicola Zerbinati, Europe’s leading expert in the treatment. In addition to identifying how to make this treatment more effective, we have discovered methods for making it more comfortable for patients, a real win-win situation.

Such meetings are a wonderful way to exchange ideas and experiences, and served to inspire all of those who attended. Ultimately, the real benefit is seen in the improved treatments for our clients.
