At Defy Time, we have to admit that we are fans of the ‘Natural Look’, rather than the obvious, artificial look that is often seen in the media.
However, lips are a very personal thing, and we are always guided by the patient. We would rather have to add more filler in, than have to remove it.
The treatment does result in slight swelling for about 12hrs, and can also give some bruising for a few days, so it is always wise to leave a week before that special event.
The lips have always been the domain of the Dermal Filler, be it Hyaluronic Acid today, or Collagen, as in the past. However the future will probably be MicroFat, or NanoFat, with only the downtime expected the stumbling block at present, but this may soon be greatly reduced.
